I was hesitant to purchase this book. I thought it was a cute concept, but worried it would be "boring" or too simple for my 2 year old. I'm happy to say that he LOVES it. He caught on to the concept really quickly and has been "reading" it to himself for the past two days. He speaks less than the average 2 year old, but we can hear him after we put him to bed reading away saying "Dada" on every page and often the accompanying animal sound as well. I'm super pleased with this book and will recommend it to everyone. It's simple, but it's a lot of fun. I especially like the different facial expressions from the animals as they try to get their kids to say, "dada". It's sweet to see a book focusing on dads.

This book is really simple but adorable. Every page is a different animal daddy trying to get their baby to say "dada". I find the illustrations of the frustrated fathers really cute. Got this for my husband for Father's Day.

Who doesn't love Jimmy Fallon. I had to buy this book when he talked about it on his show. Then it arrived... The pictures are nice and the "story" is funny BUT children don't "get it". I find myself having to explain every page ("the Daddy wants the baby to say Dada but look he's saying Moo instead"). There's also too many pages. My older son just walks away after like 3 animals and my younger son (almost 2) who loves books ends up forcing it closed on me.
